The Arizona Center for Investigative Reporting was founded by Andrew Long and Brandon Quester. The two met as editors while working for News21, a Carnegie-Knight funded investigative journalism initiative, which is headquartered at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
